There’s always something, some spark of an idea that captures my interest before I write a story. Often it’s an interesting question about people in general, or something quirky and absolutely ridiculous, a situation that leaves me wondering,
what would happen if . . .
The answer then stays with me until I write the story.
The unspoken things that can happen in a marriage
FIND HER KEEP HER Do you forgive your fiancé for things that happened at his bachelor party?
STAY OR GO? Was Freud right? Are peoples’ characters set in childhood? Do people really ever change? What happens when the man you married grows and evolves and changes into…the man you married?
NOW HE’S GONE What happens when after a baby is born, and the husband can’t get past viewing his wife as a mother now, instead of a lover?
CHURCH MOUSE ON HIS MOTORCYCLE
What would happen if I paired a good church girl with a bad boy biker? How would they have crossed paths in the first place? And what if she had a bucket list to start her new life after graduation?
What would happen if you woke up in a strange mystical country, a virtual prisoner of a man who has hated you for over a year?

I read a magazine article about a woman who had a one-night stand when travelling in Europe on business. She got back home and realized she was pregnant and without any way to contact the father.
